This bill will make it illegal for me to say in my books (which are sold in California) that people who struggle with gender dysphoria, as I did, can find healing through counseling for underlying issues, as I did. If I speak at conferences in California I can be sued for damages for relaying the same message of hope and truth.
This bill tramples freedom of speech and religion and threatens counselors with lawsuits if they do not affirm someone’s alternate gender identity.
