Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (9:00–19:15) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub on a high-volume surgical service performing 60–70 cases per day across multiple service lines including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, General/Trauma, Vascular, GYN/Urology, and Robotics
• Function independently without sales rep support for knee, hip, and shoulder cases, including total joints and trauma
• Operate and assist with robotic surgical systems in a designated Robotic Center of Excellence environment utilizing multiple Xi and DV5 platforms
• Perform scrub duties for complex vascular cases including AAAs, carotids, and femoral procedures, as well as craniotomies and ophthalmic cases such as vitrectomies, scleral buckles, retina, and cataracts
• Utilize common surgical equipment including Doppler, ultrasound, Neptune, Aquamantis, video systems, lasers, various stapling systems, and Hana and Jackson tables
• Participate in an on-call rotation of approximately four 8-hour call shifts per 4-week cycle

Required Qualifications

• Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a CST; prior travel assignment experience required — first-time travelers are not eligible
• Minimum 2 years of Level 1–2 trauma experience in Orthopedics (including total joints and trauma) and Neurosurgery (including craniotomies); Level 2 trauma experience required, Level 1 preferred
• Strong proficiency in Robotics and Vascular required; mastery of AAA, carotid, and femoral cases expected from day one; strong eye and craniotomy experience also required
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Level 1 trauma center experience preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Shoulder arthroplasty scrub experience preferred
