Job Description

Responsibilities

Assist with the management and troubleshooting of multiple applications supporting Wellmark’s systems.
Work with application operations, technology stakeholders, and business stakeholders to provide production support and investigate the root causes of system errors.
Develop application business knowledge to support effective maintenance.
Participate in developing complex UI artifacts used by multiple development teams.
Maintain documentation and code examples describing usage and best practices.
Collaborate with UX designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate user experience throughout the creation process.
Work collaboratively with shared code while following source code control and process documentation practices.

Requirements

Be a current junior, senior, or master’s student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
Have experience or knowledge of software development technologies such as Angular, NodeJS, TypeScript, C++, .NET, Java, or SQL.
Demonstrate analytical problem-solving, troubleshooting, research, root-cause analysis, and creative technical solution skills.
Have strong writing, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Demonstrate computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Be able to work with changing priorities, meet established timeframes with limited direction, and maintain data and information integrity.
Preferred: prior office or internship experience and experience with software development lifecycle methodologies.
