Couples answer a guided questionnaire, get an evidence checklist and a check for missing information, then review, sign and file the drafts themselves. Green Card Helper is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. Our public fact pages give general information, and every fact on them links to an official source. What you'll do Write general-information pages about the marriage green card process for spouses inside the U.S., for example the I-864 Affidavit of Support, the I-693 medical exam, work and travel permits while the I-485 is pending, and the I-751 for removing conditions. Topics come from real search demand. Back every factual claim (forms, editions, fees, eligibility conditions, documents, timelines) with a primary-source link: USCIS or the U.S. Department of State, or another official U.S. government source such as the Federal Register or HHS poverty guidelines. If you only saw a fact in a search snippet, say so. Describe what official sources say. Never tell readers what they should do in their own case, and never predict approval or timing. Mark the situations where readers should talk to an immigration attorney or DOJ-accredited representative. Structure each page for readers, search engines and AI answer engines: a clear H1, a direct answer near the top, an FAQ, a source list and a "last verified" date. Update published pages when USCIS changes forms or fees. This is paid as a separate deliverable. What we're looking for 1–2 published articles on immigration, legal, government or other high-stakes topics that show careful sourcing. Working knowledge of how USCIS publishes forms, instructions, fees and policy. Plain-English writing for applicants who may not be native English speakers. No AI-generated filler. You may draft with AI tools, but you check every fact against the source and stand behind every sentence. A law or paralegal background is a plus, not a requirement. This is not a legal role, and your work is not presented as legal advice. Deliverables & pay One deliverable is one 1,200–2,500-word article (Markdown or Google Docs) with a full source list, a suggested title tag and meta description, and 3–6 FAQ entries. Pay: US$150–280 per accepted article, with two rounds of revisions included. Fact-update passes: US$40–80 per update. Payment is made within 14 days of acceptance. Articles may later get an independent legal review. Any reviewer credit is added only after a real review. We start with a paid trial of 1 article.
